64-Year Old Spanish Woman Gives Birth To Twins
A woman in Spain gave birth to twins at the age of 64.
The new mom from a small town in Northern Spain had a little help with the pregnancy through in vitro fertilization in the United States. The newly born boy and girl are healthy, according to Spanish newspaper El Mundo, who doesn’t identify the woman.
The woman went through the same procedure six years ago, and she gave birth to a daughter, but social services took custody of the child after reports of neglect.
Believe it or not, the Spanish woman isn’t the oldest woman in Spain to give birth. Sixty-seven year old Carmen Bousada also had twins in Spain but she died three years later.
