Pregnant Women With Dogs Have Healthier Pregnancies
Prenatal care may now include dog time.
A new study suggests households with dogs make for healthier babies. Research by the University of Alberta shows homes with furry pets produced babies with healthier guts, even if the household only had the pet during the pregnancy.
Other findings included that babies with pets had less risk of allergies and obesity.
