Tamar Braxton Not Completely Retiring To Focus On Marriage
Tamar Braxton isn’t quitting her musical career to focus on her marriage as previously reported.
Braxton sat down with Dish Nation to discuss her upcoming tour, album and to clear up the reports that she was retiring from music to dedicate more time to her marriage. The founder of the music group, The Braxtons, the singer and television personality isn’t completely retiring from music.
The youngest of the Braxton sisters reveals 2016 was a rough year for her so she re-evaluated her life.
“It came to me like I have to pay attention to the things that are stable and real which is my marriage, she told the daily entertainment news show. “It’s important for me to invest in things that return in happiness.”
The reality star and singer has been married to record executive Vincent Herbert since 2008, and the two share a 4-year-old child together. When asked what part of her life is the most difficult to juggle , she admits working with her spouse is not the easiest. “It’s hard,” she said of working with her manager/husband.
Braxton is currently promoting Blue Bird of Happiness and she’ll be going on tour with Xscape. Her Twitter posts suggest this album is her last, but she’s not leaving the spotlight.
