Men More Satisfied With Their Bromances Than Their Romances

Men apparently get more out of their bromances than their relationships.

According to a study published in The Journal “Men And Masculinities”,  Men Get More Out Of Their Relationships With Their “Bros” than with their romantic partners.

Researchers interviewed 30 heterosexual, male, second-year college students. they all were studying a sports-related major, and all except for one was white.

The study’s authors wrote, “on balance, they argued that bromantic relationships were more satisfying in their emotional intimacy, compared to their heterosexual romances.”

Researchers said bromances create a space for men to be emotionally vulnerable and not feel judged.

For example, one participant said, “Tim knows I love listening to Taylor Swift and Beyonce, but I keep that quiet [around my girlfriend] because she would judge me.”

And 29 out of the 30 participants said they had cuddled with their bro.

So it looks like Barack Obama and Joe Biden’s legendary bromance has inspired countless others.
