Usher and Wife Grace Miguel Announce Separation

Usher and Grace Miguel

Usher and his wife have called it quits.

The cheating allegations against Usher and the lawsuits accusing the singer of having unprotected sex knowing he had herpes may have been too much for this marriage. The married couple of two years announced their separation Wednesday with an official press release to Us Weekly.

“After much thought and consideration we have mutually decided to separate as a couple,” Usher and Grace said in a joint statement to the entertainment magazine. “We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives. The enormous amount of love and respect that we have for each other will only increase as we move forward.”

The couple apparently had been separated a few months prior to the announcement.

Last year, it was revealed that Usher settled a lawsuit for $1.1 million in 2012 with a stylist who revealed she had sex with the  “U Got It Bad” musician without a condom because he failed to disclose his condition. A second woman also came forward claiming the married singer also failed to notify her of his STD before having unprotected sex. High powered attorney Lisa Bloom is on that case which is looking to also get $20 million from the R&B singer. The attorney claims other women have come forward with the same allegations.

Usher also came under fire Memorial Day weekend of 2018 at a show in Las Vegas when a fan posted a video showing a bikini-clad Alexis Skyy (Love & Hip Hop) shaking her thang all over the place including on Usher. The video further fueled speculation the married father of two was not faithful to his current wife.
