Taylor Swift Surprises Random Bride and Groom
Taylor Swift is a sucker for weddings.
The singer/songwriter famously crashed a fan’s wedding in 2016 and serenaded them, and now she’s done it again.
Edward and Margaret McNoble celebrated their wedding nuptials last Saturday at the The Carltun in NYC. They walked into the venue to Taylor Swift’s “Welcome to New York” and shared their first dance to Swift’s “Love Story,” according to Us Weekly.
Somehow the award-winning artist got wind of the couple’s use of her songs in the wedding party, and left them a nice surprise. When they arrived to the wedding venue, they were met with a bottle of Dom Perignon and a signed note.
“Rumor has it you might be using my song in your wedding celebration which makes me so happy! Here’s to this amazing day of your continuing love story. Love, Taylor,” Swift wrote.
The New York-based couple told Us Weekly they were thrilled by the unexpected gesture.
“It was awesome. It was such a great day. With all the moving parts, this was a great surprise! To get a bottle of Dom is a very nice gift, and then to see it’s from Taylor Swift is an even better gift!”
It would’ve been a viral moment if Swift had actually showed up in person, but the Us Weekly source says she was in Los Angeles at the time.
Either way, it’s a moment you won’t soon forget
