Czech Government Backs Bill To Allow Same-Sex Marriage
Czech Republic could be making history in the very near future.
The Czech government backed a bill last Friday that will allow couples of the same sex to be married. This is particularly huge for the country because it would become the first nation of formerly communist Europe to allow same-sex marriages.
According to Huffington Post, the bill was drafted by 46 lawmakers and was opposed by 37.
If the bill ends up passing, Czech Republic could be breaking some serious ground in Europe. Wochit News has more below.
