Holding Hands Has Healthy Benefits

Holding Hands Good for Your Health
Feeling loved isn’t the only benefit from holding hands with your loved ones.

A new research study reveals holding hands has healing powers. Top 30 has the story which explains that holding hands can help reduce pain.

The researchers tested two groups. The women who were holding hands felt less pain because of something called “interpersonal synchronization.” It’s an unconscious thing where we sync our heartbeats, breathing and brain activity with someone else’s. Synchronization was highest when holding hands and pain was reduced because the subject was absorbing her partner’s lack of pain.
